#WeTrendStyle Fashion Blogger Index
This face looks highly familiar.
So I never really talked about the #WeTrendStyle Fashion Blogger Index Magazine, that was released during Fashion Forward Season 3. It's actually pretty cool, as it gives you access to most of the UAE fashion bloggers. What's even cooler is that I'm actually on the cover!

Checkered Jumpsuit
Jumpsuits are perfect for emergency fashion moments.
So this is what I wore on Saturday to the Easter dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House in Dubai Marina. This is one of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe (yes, I know, I do say that about all my jumpsuits). It is just so easy to wear, for the obvious reason.

Anne Marie's Birthday Bash
All that glitz and glam for a special girl.
Last night I was invited to a special night at Just Cavalli. It was Anne Marie's birthday, the host of ‘Cavalli Club, Restaurant and Lounge’ and ‘Cirque Le Soir’, two of the hottest venues in the Middle East.

Lipsy SS14 Press Event
Time to get your girl glam on.
I know this is pretty late, but wow, the past few weeks were crazy for me! I was packed with deadlines, video shoots and press events! Things are finally slowing down again giving me just enough time to catch my breath. For now, Let's talk Lipsy SS14!

Pure Youth Energy
GYEMing around.
Around a week back, I went to a great event called 'The Youth Festival' which was arranged by the energy-filled group called GYEM, an organization that started regionally by the youth, dedicated to empower and inspire the youth! That was a bit of a tongue twister, wasn't it!

SS14 Craze
If you can't find it, make it.
Last week was crazy in terms of work. It's that time of the year again where newness is launched into our favourite brands, and with that comes Press Events! One of the brands I work for, Koton, had it's SS14 collection launch on Tuesday. I'll definitely be posting about that in depth very soon. I also had another exciting event that I got to attend; which was a Blogger's Meet at Cavalli Club, organized by WeTrendStyle.com. I'll be posting about that too to give you the inside scoop! For now, let me show off that awesome maxi cardigan I made.
I would definitely consider it as one of my major current obbsessions. Sadly though, they are hardly available anywhere around Dubai. That's when I decided, "If you can't find it, make it." I went on with selecting the right patterns, and accessorized it with studded shoulder pads. And ended up making two designs instead of one! You really get carried away when you're having fun..
Here's my first one, that has a more casual feel to it.

RedFestDXB Vol: II
A bit of neon goes a long way.
RedFestDXB came to an end last night with Mark Ronson at the main stage. Personally, he was the highlight of yesterday' performances, followed by Naughty Boy, John Newman and then The Lumineers. Unfortunately I missed Rita Ora's performance, but I heard it was great.I wore my badass boots from H&M yesterday, with a high-waist black pants, and a white crop top, that has a bird pattern on it. I added the neon pink crop blouse under it to add a bit of colour, and matched my socks to them. It's a bit of a quirky outfit, but it worked for me.

RedFestDXB Vol: I
The girl who was mistaken to be a little boy.
I dedicate this post to my awesome denim jumpsuit. I got this gorgeous baby from Zara for only 95 AED in their end of season sale last weekend. The best bit was that it was the last piece, and my size. Yep, I was meant to buy it. It's in that moment that I started to believe in destiny. I thought The first day of RedFestDXB was a great opportunity for their debut.I paired it with my classic Timberland boots. And then everyone started to mistake me for a little boy. It's alright 'cause I don't care; I LOVE IT!
In terms of the music festival, I had a good time with a great group of friends. Tinie Tempah was great, but the highlight for me was definitely Jessie J. She was simply phenomenal; and of course stunning. Looking forward to see how tomorrow goes, Really excited about The Lumineers, John Newman and Rita Ora.

Lazy Thursdays
Dressing it down.
Dubai weather is seriously weird. It started getting really hot the past week, but then overnight--BOOM! SURPRISEEE! IT'S WINTER AGAIN! It was really getting to me, and I felt too sick to get out of bed this morning. So I ended up taking a sick leave, popping pills and trying to get my self sorted out before the weekend officially starts. It's all good now. Feeling way better and refreshed. It's still pretty cold though, but I'm now mentally prepared again.
I usually dress down than really dress it up, so this is my usual look; something comfortable, yet keeping it a bit stylish. It's what I call the I-look-like-I-didn't-try-but-I-really-honestly-did look. And since I'm a hobbit by nature, I'm now hooked on those 'sneaky sneakers' that have a hidden wedge. Yea, I know it doesn't do much; but it gives me that added confidence boost about my height. Oh, and of course, my awesome backpack. It makes all the difference.

Putting in a bit of effort.
The Pinafore Maxi Skirt Love Story.
I am in love. I found this little gem in Global Village, in Thailand's pavilion. And I bargained and got it for just 60 AED. How gorgeous is it!I never get tired of Global Village. I'll always come back home with something unique. This time I actually controlled myself and just got the skirt instead of overspending, like my usual self. But I went a bit crazy with buying yummy labneh of different mixes from Palestine's pavilion. Not to mention that I completed ruined a strict diet buy snacking on Holland's famous Mini Pancakes. Oh well. Let's not think about that.

Getting on with it.
Denim on denim kinda day.
Finally, I got around to putting up my first post! I've been meaning to start a fashion blog for ages, but it's been pushed back over and over again, since I never got the chance to allocate the appropriate time for it.I'm glad it's finally happening. Feels good already.
For my first post, I chose a very basic style, denim on denim. Since I was heading to the office, I added an oversized black blazer on top, to give it a more semi formal feel. Then I matched studded kitten heels to it.
For my scarf, I thought this turban suits it the best, and gives it that unique touch.
Happy Thursday everyone!
